02craeft.org
This website sets no cookies unless you choose a language with the switcher (English or Deutsch). Then it sets one, user_locale, which holds only “en” or “de” and lasts a year, so the site opens in the language you picked instead of your browser's. It doesn't use local storage or similar technologies. It has no analytics, no advertising and no content embedded from other companies; even its fonts come from our own server. Our host, Cloudflare, receives the technical data every website receives to deliver a page, as described in the privacy policy.
03The Craeft app
When you sign in to the editor, these cookies are set. All of them are needed to provide the service you asked for. The first one is craeft.org's only.

04Storage in your browser
The app also keeps a few settings in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device and aren't used to identify you.

05On connected websites
Craeft adds a small kit to each connected website. For ordinary visitors it sets nothing and changes nothing. Only for people who sign in to edit does it set the se-admin cookie, and on private previews the se-live cookie, both listed above. A connected website may use its own cookies; its owner's cookie policy covers those.
06Why there's no banner
Under § 25 (2) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG) and the ePrivacy Directive, storing information in your browser needs your consent unless it is strictly necessary for a service you've asked for. Everything listed here is strictly necessary for signing in and using the editor, or for keeping the language you chose on craeft.org. That's why we don't show a cookie banner. If we ever add anything that needs consent, we'll ask first.
07Removing cookies
You can delete cookies and site data in your browser's settings at any time, and block them for app.craeft.org. If you do, you'll need to sign in again, and the editor won't work while sign-in cookies are blocked. If you delete the user_locale cookie, craeft.org follows your browser's language again.
